There are a few shortcomings of the KS7000, but the picture quality is really good. The external connections are practical and there's no shortage of them.
Customisation also means that you can remove "live TV" if you don"t use the internal tuner, and replace it with HDMI 1 instead, where your set-top box is likely to be connected. Connected devices are automatically detected and Samsung tries to identify the device so that you can use the same universal remote for everything. This works to a degree, although it"s not an exact science, and our UHD YouView box wasn"t recognised. Naturally, Samsung"s devices use Anynet+ seamlessly.

SAMSUNG UN55KS8000 55" Order KS8000 4K SUHD TV // Full Specs Review 2017 Model also called: SAMSUNG UN55KS8000FXZA, SAMSUNG KS8000 .
Good Day! This is my first post on AVS forums, so apologies in advance for any inadvertant breach of etiquette or protocol. I"m a longtime lurker and have always found comments here to be tremendously helpful, so.naturally.this seemed a logical place to turn when grappling with the following. I"m in the process of upgrading to 4K, which is proving to be the sloppiest and most confounding upgrade I"ve ever undertaken. There seem to be a great meany conflicting opinions and reviews regarding which brands and models are best, and which should be avoided, whether to go with LED or OLED, etc. and it"s.quite frankly.becoming a singularly unfun, stressful migration. After months of poking around, I finally settled on a 65" Samsung UN65KS8500 (2016), based to a high degree on a particualrly agreeable in-store sales price, and brand loyalty. I"m upgrading a Samsung unit I"ve had for years - one which I"ve been rather happy with on the whole - so why not star there? Or maybe not? I am completely fine with many elements of the unit on the whole, and a few qualities I like quite a bit. But I"m struggling with some lighting issues. I don"t know if these issues are a natural product of the edge lighting technology (this is my first), or if the unit itself is not performing as well as it should. Being new to edge-lit sets, so I don"t know what anomolies would fall within the baseline/norm. I"ve attached a few images of what I believe is spill light falling onto the top edge of the screen. The rest of the image feels relatively consistent (my cruddy pics suggest a far muddier/cloudier image than is actually on-screen - it looks pretty nice in real life). I"m only seeing this effect as a band along the top edge, and on nearly any color palette which is anything other than bright (wood hues, night time, moody rooms, etc. show this spill effect to varying degrees). Is this a normal byproduct of edge lighting? Should I consider a replacement? Are there flatscreen/edge-lit TVs which are less susceptible to such glitches? The TV is only a few days old, so there"s still plenty of time to make adjustments/swaps if necessary. Any insight would be profoundly appreciated. Thanks so much for reading.
View content at 4 times the resolution of 1080p with the Samsung KS8000-Series 49"-Class SUHD Smart LED TV . Lower resolution video sources can also be upscaled to near-4K quality. This TV has a 48.5" LED edge-lit LCD display, and incorporates MR 240 technology to digitally enhance fast-moving images to reduce blur. The KS8000 has built-in Wi-Fi connectivity to allow access to your favorite apps and Internet-based content via the Samsung Smart Hub, plus content sharing and screen mirroring with your other smart devices such as your smartphone or tablet. With four HDMI inputs, there are multiple options for connecting high-definition video sources. Three USB ports are also onboard for connecting multimedia peripherals like flash drives.

Also, are you sure you need a full motion bracket? They are usually bulky and throw themselves off level frequently when used. I recommend that for corner mounting scenarios but most people never actually pull their tv off the wall. Is there an adjacent room you need to view the tv from?
Samsung guarantees 4K quality on all 2016 SUHD and UHD TVs. Enjoy every vivid detail with 4K resolution which means 4 times the resolution of a Full HD TV. A Samsung 4K UHD TV produces rich, saturated images because every single one of its 8.3 million pixels provides colour performance from red, green and blue (RGB) elements.
Smart Hub : Samsung has improved its smart TV Tizen OS with a new Smart Hub designed to provide users with simple access to their favorite content all in one place. Live TV, over the top (OTT), games and even the menu that appears on the home screen of Samsung Smart TVs have all been revamped to allow users to access their favorite programs as soon as they turn on the TV.
Here is a brilliant review and installation of a 4K wall-mounted. Putting your TV on the wall gives you a room in a larger look without cabinets or shelves in the way.
My migraine experience dealing with finding the right screws to mount this thing.
