klipsch rp-280f review: Klipsch Heresy III Loudspeaker | The Absolute Sound
Klipsch RF-82 - Floorstanding Speakers - Capturing all the sonic excitement of your favorite music and movies, the Reference Series RF-82 floorstander is unlike anything you
You might be wondering what is so heretical about the $1700 Heresy III, the most affordable model in Klipsch’s Heritage line. The original design was introduced circa 1957 as a center channel for a pair of Klipschorns, although the name was not used officially until 1964 in a company brochure. By 1973, Klipsch was running a national ad with “Heresy in the Church” as the by-line. It was the first non-corner speaker that Paul W. Klipsch designed, and thus it was considered heretical in the sense of violating the master’s doctrine of corner-horn loading. Ironically, the Heresy III strikes me as being even more heretical in this day and age of sub-90dB sensitivity speakers. Here you have a fairly compact package, almost bookshelf-sized, that refuses to pander to current design fashion and focuses instead on high sensitivity and maximum SPL output.

Bought these for the L/R Mains on my Home Theater. They are simply AMAZING! For music they are also very good. Efficient and easy on the ears. Just like all Klipsch speakers, they need clean power. They will show the weakness in any system. I put them beside the speakers they were replacing and a bunch of guys and I played side by side movie and music demos.Hands down, Klipsch is the winner. Can"t even imagine what the RF-63"s or RF-83"s would sound like!

Brent Butterworth reviews Klipsch's $899 R-115SW subwoofer, a ported design that uses a 15-inch Cerametallic driver and an 800-watt Class D amplifier.
At $899, the R-115SW is priced to compete with the Internet-only companies. Technically, it"s standard stuff: a 15-inch Cerametallic ( a proprietary mix of ceramic and aluminum ) driver in a slot-ported box, powered by an 800-watt Class D amp. The only thing that"s even slightly unusual is the rear multipin port for Klipsch"s $129 WA-2 wireless connection kit. The sub looks really nice, with a brushed polymer veneer cabinet that mimics the look and feel of anodized aluminum.
klipsch rp-280f review: Klipsch Reference R-28F Review - Big, Beautiful and Best in Their Class
These are the best floor standing speakers we tested. They aced our music listening test, performed well for movies and are also highly efficient.
For our music test, we sampled songs from a wide variety of music genres, including jazz, electronic, hip-hop, blues, rock and classical. The Klipsch towers produced the best results out of all the models we tested. They performed particularly well when we played music with synthesized bass, like Laxx’s “Semi Auto” and Beck’s “Morning.” Songs with low and hard-hitting bass can make inferior floor speakers sound muddy and hide midrange content behind the veil of low frequencies. That was not the case with the R-28F. These floor standing speakers produced the clearest and most concise bass frequencies in our review.

Klipsch Rp 280: Which one is better Klipsch RP-280F or RF-82II? - AVS Forum | Home Theater Discussions And Reviews
I was looking to purchase a klipsch floor standing speaker for my home theater. I like the 8" drivers. I will use it for BlueRays, TV and Video Games, occasionally for music, but very rarely. I see that these two speakers are both 8" woofers but the RP-208 are priced $275 more per speaker than the RF-82. Any one heard both and could tell me if the difference is worth all that money? Also, I"m looking at the Kef"s Q900. Would any of these klipsch be better tan the Kef"s q900? I have a good Denon Reciever that will be connected to the speakers
